Qualifications

• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One of the following Utah certifications: Advanced EMT, CMA, Paramedic, ABR-OE, RMA, NCMA, CMA (NHA), NRCMA (NH Pro).
• All licenses may have additional department requirements to be determined by hiring.
• Must be able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and long periods on feet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures per clinic procedures.
• Report patient concerns to licensed staff.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, charting, and obtaining medical records.
• Attend mandatory education including infection control, CPR, and safety training.
• Provide direct patient care and may perform phlebotomies under supervision.
