Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant/MA-C to join our Magnolia clinic team in Seattle. You will support administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling and updating EPIC, while taking patient vitals and assisting licensed practitioners in patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience
• Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification

Responsabilités

• Assist with administrative tasks: scheduling appointments and updating information in EPIC
• Take patients’ vital signs at appointments
• Work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties to support patient care
• Adhere to established policies and procedures and regulations
