Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Group in the Seattle area is seeking a Medical Assistant/MA-C to support both administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling, updating EPIC records, and taking patient vital signs.

The MA II role operates under a licensed practitioner and provides care within established policies while offering pathways to leadership and career advancement in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or apprenticeship.
• Minimum one year MA experience including vital signs, injections, and meds.
• Washington MA Certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and update patient information in EPIC.
• Take vital signs during appointments and assist clinicians.
• Work under supervision of a licensed practitioner per policies.
