Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Has completed a Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling appointments and update patient information in EPIC.
• Take patients’ vital signs at appointments.
• Work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in patient care.
• Contribute to a collaborative clinical team environment.
