Aufgaben

• Assist junior Medical Assistants with day-to-day questions and onboarding training.
• Show patients to examination rooms, prepare equipment, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information.
• Explain treatments, medications, and diet instructions; organize patient education materials.
• Perform general office duties and liaise with other departments while advocating for patients.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare for testing; phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain inventory of immunizations and check expiration dates.
• Provide immunizations as applicable with certification or 3 years of experience.
• Contribute to quality initiatives such as two patient identifiers and hand hygiene.

Ausbildung

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate Degree in Medical Assisting (preferred)
