The General Hospital Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers in Massachusetts. You will take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow to ensure patient comfort and efficient care.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent, BLS and CMA certifications preferred, 1–2 years of MA experience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA license preferred.
• Experience in medical setting 1–2 years required.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with other departments.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms, keep spaces clean, restock supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated materials.
