Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program with 330 clock hours.
• Current certification from an approved medical assisting certification board or registration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs and history.
• Assist physicians and staff, prepare rooms and equipment.
• Perform patient registration, scheduling, and medical record handling.
• Conduct ECGs and point-of-care tests per policy.
• Document patient information in EMR and coordinate discharge paperwork.
