Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant who serves as the first contact for patient care and performs administrative and clinical duties with initiative. You will obtain vital signs, assist with vaccines, phlebotomy, and documentation in the EMR while collaborating with physicians and practice providers.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered MA
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 3+ years MA experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certified
• TB screening is required for this role

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for patient care and perform administrative duties alongside clinical tasks.
• Take vital signs, assist with procedures, and document in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care.
• Lead and mentor other Medical Assistants in daily workflows and processes.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and TB screening requirements.
