Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our onsite team at 50 Staniford Street in Boston. You will welcome patients, gather vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and support clinicians to ensure smooth, compassionate care.

A High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting is preferred; BLS and CMA certifications are desirable. You will work with physicians and nursing staff to document information and maintain a clean clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years direct MA experience required.
• BLS and CMA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
