Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant in Mint Hill, NC for a full-time role in Family Medicine. The position supports rooming, patient history, screenings, and basic lab duties while assisting providers with procedures. A CMA or RMA certification is preferred, with HT certification where required.

The work schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:15am-5:15pm. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training/EMT.
• Current CMA or RMA certification from a recognised body or eligible to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Perfoms rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines per rights of administration.
• Supports scheduling, referrals, and patient communication.
• Maintains clean work environment and proper stocking.
