Job summary

CleanSlate Centers in Indiana is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support the care team by assisting clinical and administrative tasks, preparing patients for exams, and helping ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will perform phlebotomy, basic testing, injections, manage documentation in EMR, support prescription processes, and help with outreach and scheduling. A High School Diploma and MA/Phlebotomy/EMT/LPN training plus 1+ year related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or LPN program.
• 1+ year MA/phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Proficient in EMRs and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by gathering medical history and vitals.
• Perform phlebotomy, urine drug screenings, and CLIA-waived testing.
• Administer injections per provider direction.
• Assist with prescription management and medication counts.
• Support outreach: reminders, re-engagement, follow-up.
• Manage lab and PPE supplies and documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with front desk and lab teams to support workflow.
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards.
