Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group in Park Ridge, IL, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and clinic operations. The role includes clerical tasks, appointment scheduling, and chart management.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant certification, and a current BLS certificate. Phlebotomy certification or competency is also required. Full-time hours with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Current BLS certificate required on hire and maintain.
  • At least 1 year of public-facing work experience.
  • Health care experience preferred.
  • Current Phlebotomy certification or competency required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
  • Schedule appointments and manage charts.
  • Provide information to patients to maximize clinic service utilization.
  • Convey a positive image of the organization.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2. Medical Assistant Certification.

3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.

6. Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
