Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Urology department at 20201 S Crawford Ave, Olympia Fields, IL. Schedule is Monday-Friday, full-time, days shift.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, handling appointment scheduling and chart management, and delivering information to patients to optimize clinic services while upholding a professional image. Benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.
• Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
