Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the BILH Primary Care team. In this role you will support clinicians by taking vital signs, recording medical histories in the EMR, and delivering patient information to families to promote understanding and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program OR MA certification OR 5 years' MA experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire (American Heart Association).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; knowledge of medical terminology; ability to multitask.

• Take patient vital signs and document medical history in the EMR.
• Provide patients and families with medical information to support understanding.
