Job summary

ChristianaCare Primary Care at Perryville is seeking a reliable Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care. You will greet patients, prepare visits, perform basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs), and maintain exam rooms and equipment.

You will manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties and troubleshooting video visits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification through a national agency.

Responsibilities

• Greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, and assists with exams.
