ChristianaCare's Primary Care in Broomall, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, preparing patients for visits, and performing basic clinical and clerical tasks.

The role includes managing EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while maintaining exam rooms and equipment. A high school diploma or MA training/certification is required, with a Monday–Friday day shift and no weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or MA certification by a national organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person; prepare for visits.
• Perform basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs) and assist with exams.
• Manage EMR updates, referrals, authorizations, scheduling, and patient portal access.
