Qualifications

• Must be able to provide patient care within Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Education includes High School Diploma or GED with completion of MA program.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, medical history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling, and POCT per order.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
• Handles duties like refills, authorizations, messaging, scheduling, referrals.
• Cross-trained for duties across clinic practices.
• Maintains clean environment and organized supplies.
• Age-appropriate patient care and growth/development assessment.
