Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training.
• 2 years of verifiable Medical Assistant experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, history, screening, medication reconciliation.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines according to safety rules.
• Manages referrals, scheduling, and patient communications; keeps areas stocked.
• Maintains clean work environment and ensures equipment is ready for use.
