Inova Health System's Inova Primary Care in Gainesville is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant 1 for a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday. You will support patient flow, take vitals, assist clinicians, and help with clerical tasks in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, have BLS certification within 6 months of hire, and bring 1 year of clinical experience. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and team collaboration within Inova's renowned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in a medical group practice or similar setting preferred.
• Preferred: 1 year of clinical practice experience.

Responsabilités

• Check schedules, manage patient flow and record vital signs.
• Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for visits, transport to exam rooms, and relay instructions.
• Perform clerical tasks and manage medical records as needed.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure clinic environment is clean and safe.
• Support quality improvement and participate in huddles as needed.
