Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform a wide variety of tasks, including direct patient care under physician supervision, reception duties, and administrative support across laboratory and clinical settings. The role requires MA program completion and BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year clinical experience preferred, with competitive pay and benefits as part of the HSHS system across Illinois and Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of program per department discretion.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Assist with reception and patient flow.
• Support administrative and laboratory tasks.
• Assist with business-side activities of patient visits.
