Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1 or more years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of completion of program per department discretion.
• One year of clinical experience - Preferred.
• MA Certification/Registration required or must be obtained within 90 days of start date from one of the credentialing organizations listed.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, in-person and over the phone, with patients of all ages under supervision.
• Perform reception duties: greet and assist patients and visitors, manage front-desk tasks.
• Assist with the business side of patient visits, including scheduling and coordinating with providers.
