ChristianaCare Primary Care at Elkton is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support physicians in both virtual and on-site patient care. You will perform essential clinical and clerical duties, including testing, injections, EKGs, preparing patients for visits, and maintaining exam rooms and equipment.

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment.
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.
