Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Highlands Ranch is seeking a Medical Assistant for onsite duties in the Highlands Ranch Outpatient Clinics. The role requires direct patient care under supervision, with emphasis on gathering vital signs, specimen collection and timely communication of patient changes.

Minimum education is a High School Diploma or GED, and a CMA/RMA certification plus BLS/CPR credential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; BLS/CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited MA program.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Gathers vital signs, specimen collection, and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Performs administrative duties including filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
