Job summary

UCHealth in Estes Park is seeking a Medical Assistant for PRN shifts (2 weeks) in the UCHlthMG GMC Float Pool. The role includes daily patient care under supervision, basic clinical tasks, and administrative support in a busy primary care setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CMA/RMA and BLS/CPR certification, with 3 years MA experience or graduate from an accredited MA program. Compensation ranges per hour with benefits and career ladder.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: CMA/RMA; BLS/CPR certification with card in-hand before start date and valid through 60 days after hire.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a provider or nurse, assists with patient care.
• Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions; documents care.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; reorders, stocks, cleans, and troubleshoots; maintains exam areas.
• Performs administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Operates within the job scope with critical thinking and the ability to act in a fast-paced environment.
