Job summary

You will provide direct patient care, prepare for visits, and support the care team in a fast-paced primary care setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, BLS certification, and either 3 years MA experience or completion of an accredited MA program.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider.
• Gathers vital signs, specimen collection, and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Keeps care area stocked, cleaned and orderly; maintains equipment and supplies.
• Performs administrative duties including scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
