Job summary

HMI HSHS Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform direct patient care and administrative tasks across various clinics. The role requires completion from an accredited MA program or MA certification/registration within 90 days of start date.

Candidates with 1+ year of MA experience are preferred, with BLS within 60 days. Pay range is $19.00–$27.55 per hour, dependent on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1 or more years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of completion of program.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of activities that may include direct patient care, as well as administrative and laboratory functions.
• Direct patient care may include working with patients of all ages, in-person and over the phone, with assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
