HSHS Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform a wide range of patient care, administrative, and laboratory duties across patient ages, in-person and over the phone.

The role supports physicians and mid-level providers with assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations, while also handling reception tasks and patient flow. Education includes completion from an accredited MA program; 1+ years of MA experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of completion of program per department discretion.
• MA Certification/Registration required or must be obtained within 90 days of start date from one of the listed organizations.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the physician or mid-level provider.
• Assist with administrative and laboratory tasks during patient visits.
• Support reception activities: greet and assist patients and visitors, manage the business side of a visit.
