Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• 0-1 years of related experience in patient care or associate's degree in lieu of MA experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire; MA/EMT/CNA/LNA certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet, room, and prepare patients; take vital signs and intake information.
• Support clinical procedures (EKGs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing).
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms throughout the day.
• Document accurately in the EMR per guidelines.
• Assist with scheduling, check-in, referrals, and patient instructions as needed.
• Communicate with providers, patients, and team about delays or needs.
• Follow workflows, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Support operational flow and adjust to same-day changes.
• Escort patients to labs or ancillary services; participate in specialized workflows as needed.
