Job summary

Colorado Kidney Care in Aurora, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our EMR-based practice. The ideal candidate will greet patients, perform check-in/out, take vitals, process payments, and help with lab work, schedules, and charting.

Requirements include completing a certified Medical Assistant program, at least six months of MA experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong computer skills. We offer excellent benefits, a generous PTO plan, and a competitive pay scale.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant education program.
• Minimum six months of relevant MA experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Accurate, clear communication in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform check-in and check-out procedures.
• Room patients, process urine specimens, and take vitals.
• Process patient payments and perform billing entry.
• Prepare payment batches and maintain cash transactions.
• Perform medication, test and procedure authorizations.
• Scan and attach patient records in EMR and manage docs.
• Coordinate with providers and schedule follow-ups as needed.
