AllerVie Health in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support providers in allergy and respiratory care. This entry-level role includes hands-on training in a specialty clinic and opportunities to grow.

You’ll take vitals, assist with allergy testing and spirometry, document in the EMR, keep rooms ready, and help keep visits moving smoothly while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level MA role with hands-on training in a specialty clinic.
• Must have Medical Assistant certification or training; clinical experience is a plus but training is provided.
• Warm, patient-first communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning EMR systems and working as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals: height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
• Assist with allergy testing, spirometry, Niox testing, and immunotherapy under supervision.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Keep exam rooms ready: clean, stocked, and prepped between patients.
• Keep patients moving: set clear expectations for their visit and ensure smooth transitions.
• Protect patients: uphold HIPAA and infection control standards every day.
