Job summary

AllerVie Health is hiring a Medical Assistant I to support providers and help patients move smoothly through visits in a fast-paced allergy and respiratory care clinic. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in a specialty clinic and opportunities to grow within the team.

You will take vitals, assist with specialty testing, document in the EMR, and ensure exam rooms are ready between patients while upholding HIPAA and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant certification or training.
• Clinical experience is a plus; training provided for the right person.
• Warm, patient-first communication with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning EMR systems and working in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals (height, weight, BP, pulse, temperature, SpO2).
• Assist with allergy testing, spirometry, Niox testing, and immunotherapy under supervision.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and prepped between patients.
• Keep patients moving with clear visit expectations and timely transitions.
• Uphold HIPAA and infection control standards daily.
