Job summary

HCA Healthcare Highlands Hospital seeks a Medical Assistant to support the Primary Care Team in Highlands, NC. You will assist licensed personnel, help coordinate patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and perform basic patient care activities to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED with preferred Associates/Bachelors. Prior physician practice MA experience and EKG familiarity are a plus, with no travel required and a strong focus on patient-centered

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides medical assistance under the direction of licensed personnel. Coordinates clinic patient flow, patient work-ups, exam room prep, and performs basic patient care activities. Ensures quality and continuity of care by communicating patient care information to the appropriate parties.
