Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join outpatient Heart and Vascular Office. The role involves preparing patients for visits, escorting them to treatment rooms, collecting history, and documenting in medical records.

The MA will also handle patient telephone calls and correspondence, organize duties, and promote positive patient outcomes. Per Diem, great benefits day 1, and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related work experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; national certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and assists with examinations.
• Obtains patient history, vital signs, and documents in the chart.
• Processes lab results and ensures accurate documentation.
• Coordinates patient flow and supports front desk with calls and scheduling.
