Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Windsor is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our outpatient Primary Care office. The role supports providers by rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. A high school diploma is required, with six months of related experience; certification is a plus and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical assisting normally associated with obtaining an Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance is preferred; national certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and assists with patient preparation.
• Obtains patient history and documents vital signs in the medical record.
• Files lab results, notes, and physician communications in patient charts.
• Coordinates patient flow and assists front desk staff to maintain timely appointments.
