Spire Orthopedic Partners, based in New Windsor, NY, is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams. You will prep charts, stock supplies, assist with procedures, and manage EMR notes while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

This full-time daytime role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred, strong communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Polite telephone etiquette and good communications skills.
• Computer literacy with EMR, practice management software, MS Word and Excel.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or other licensure preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares charts/notes for the day by review before hours daily.
• Assists physicians with patient care and universal precautions.
• Prepares for procedures and sets up exam rooms.
• Manages patient flow, time, and appointments; communicates urgent messages.
• Documents EMR notes and test results; confirms with physicians.
• Cleans and disinfects care areas and sterilizes instruments.
• Travels to all locations as needed.
