UCHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for the UCHealth UCHlth Family Med Pueblo West location in Colorado. This onsite, full-time role supports a busy family practice with regular day shifts. You will perform routine patient care, administrative tasks, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and 3 years MA experience or completion of an accredited MA program. BLS certification is required.

Qualifikationen

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum education: High School diploma or GED; Minimum experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited MA program.
• IF APPLICABLE: BLS - card current through start date; renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.

Aufgaben

• Under supervision of a provider or nurse, assist with patient care.
• Perform basic clinical skills and specimen collection; monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting; maintain examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
