Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for an on-site role in Colorado Springs. The position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period, with daytime shifts. Pay ranges from $21.49 to $27.94 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include clinical and administrative duties, patient care under supervision, and maintaining exam areas. Credential requirements include CMA or RMA and BLS. No remote option is available; on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Required Licensure/Certification: CMA/RMA. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• BLS/CPR card must be valid through start date and extended beyond hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under supervision by provider or nurse.
• Perform basic clinical skills and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; restock, stock, clean and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and exercise decisive judgment.
