Job summary

The Medical Assistant at Lutheran Health Network supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under supervision. You will assist with procedures, prep exam rooms, manage patient intake, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Qualifications include completion of a Medical Assistant program (preferred) and 0-1 years of experience or externship.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive medical procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before patient visits and procedures.
• Manage patient intake activities and document medical information.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support scheduling, referrals, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Uphold confidentiality and provide prompt, courteous service.
