Cook Children's Health Care System in Grapevine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy primary care setting. Under supervision, you assist in preparing and delivering patient care, preparing rooms, and supporting routine clinical workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma, MA program graduation or MA certification, CPR certification, and preferably national certification. Work hours are first shift, typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 32-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) school or current MA certification required.
• National certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Summary:

The Medical Assistant role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Schedule:8:00 am-5:00 pm: Monday-Wednesday and Friday

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma required.
• Required: Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• National certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
