Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• 1 year of MA/Patient Care Technician experience in clinical setting or documented clinical rotation.
• CPR for Health Care workers or BCLS certification preferred.
• HIPAA/compliance knowledge and confidentiality.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; accurate data entry and typing 40 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and imaging/lab coordination per protocols.
• Maintain supplies and OSHA standards; ensure clean, safe clinic areas.
• Coordinate patient communications and follow-ups.
