Job summary

ClareMedica is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our care clinics. You will work closely with PCPs, assist with exams, take vitals, and manage patient records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Ideal candidates have MA training, HIPAA knowledge, and experience with EMR systems. Bilingual skills are a plus, and a focus on compassionate patient care is required in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of approved Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 1 year of MA/Patient Care tech experience in hospital or clinic or clinical rotation acceptable.
• CPR for Health Care workers or BCLS preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality required.
• Experience with geriatric patients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and collect patient history.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain instructions.
• Record measurements and manage patient records.
• Coordinate radiographic or lab studies as directed.
• Maintain supplies and safety standards in clinic.
