Job summary

ClareMedica is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide ancillary clinical support in a fast-paced clinic. You will collaborate with the PCP and other staff to ensure efficient patient care, including vital signs, specimen collection, and routine screenings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year of MA experience or clinical rotation, and strong communication skills. Prior experience with geriatric patients and CPR/BCLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role; clinical rotation may count.
• CPR/BCLS certification preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality must be maintained.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; time management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and therapies.
• Prepare patients for exams and perform routine screening tests.
• Monitor and record physiological measurements.
• Provide health coaching and patient education under provider direction.
• Maintain sterile and safe clinical areas and manage supplies.
