GoHealth Urgent Care in Wilkins Township, PA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in our urgent care centers. The MA will handle patient intake, vital signs, basic testing, and assist clinicians to deliver a fast, friendly patient experience.

Qualified candidates bring a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year MA experience; MA certifications or nursing/EMT backgrounds are welcomed. A sign-on bonus and monthly incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year MA experience in clinical setting.
• Certifications in MA (CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA/NRCMA) or approved Nursing/EMT/Paramedic background.
• CPOE certification within 2 weeks if MA cert not obtained at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance and documentation.
• Schedule appointments and process co-pays.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Perform vital signs and preliminary patient assessments.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG).
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures; maintain rooms and supplies.
