GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring Medical Assistants for our Bridgeville, Peters Township, Waynesburg and other Washington-area centers. Per diem shifts offer a minimum hourly rate of $17 with monthly incentives and a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 for eligible applicants.

Credentials such as MA certification and BLS are valued. Training may be provided, and clinical tasks include patient intake, vitals, specimen collection, and assisting providers in urgent care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduate of Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Candidates with MA certification or related healthcare certifications are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance and documentation.
• Schedule appointments and process co-pays.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Take vital signs and perform basic patient assessments.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG).
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies and medical records.
• Support a safe, organized clinical environment.
