Job summary

The Physicians' Group in Oklahoma City seeks a Full-time Medical Assistant to support a busy orthopedic surgeon. You will help with rooming, interviewing, and documenting in EPIC, while handling referrals, forms, and other tasks to keep the clinic efficient.

Required is at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience; EPIC experience preferred. The role demands dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.

Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North Oklahoma City

• This position will assist the provider with rooming, interviewing and accurately documenting in EPIC.
• Will process forms to include referrals and for 5's.
• The MA has a critical role in keeping the fast-paced clinic running efficiently.
• Must be familiar with worker's comp, form 5's and able to professionally and efficiently work with case managers and adjusters.
• Non-clinic functions include prepping for clinic, H&P's for surgery, triage calls, scheduling, authorizations an other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• One year Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must be highly dependable and self motivated.
• Must be able to work at a very fast pace and work well within a team environment
• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
