Job summary

The Physicians' Group in North OKC is seeking a Dynamic experienced full-time Medical Assistant. The role supports orthopedic care with rooming, vitals, EHR documentation in Epic, and patient guidance throughout the visit.

Candidates should have at least one year of clinic experience, be able to handle a high patient volume, and be a dependable team player who can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Training for casting/bracing is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Ability to work at a fast pace with 35–40 patients per day.
• Orthopedic office experience a plus.
• Epic EHR experience and phlebotomy preferred.
• Worker's Compensation experience preferred.
• Casting/bracing experience preferred or willingness to train.
• Positive, organized, dependable team player able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Room and interview patients and document history.
• Take vitals and triage patient calls.
• Chart in EHR (Epic) and process paperwork for checkout (Work Comp Form 5s, referrals, prescriptions).
• Guide patients throughout the clinic.
• Cast, brace, and remove sutures as needed.
• Some front desk coverage and other duties as assigned.

Joint replacement specialty practice in North OKC looking for a Dynamic experienced full time Medical Assistant

Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities

• Room and interview patients and documenting history
• Take vitals
• Triage patient calls
• Charting in EHR (Epic) and processing any paperwork to check out to include Work Comp Form 5's, referrals, prescriptions
• Help guide patients throughout the clinic
• Casting, bracing, and removing sutures
• Some front desk coverage as needed and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of one year clinic experience
• Must have ability to work at an efficient high pace to include rooming up to 35-40 patients per day
• Experience in an orthopedic surgeons office a plus
• Experience with Epic electronic health records and phlebotomy experience are preferred
• Worker's Compensation experience is preferred as it is a large part of the patient population
• Experience with casting and bracing is preferred, or must be willing to train
• Must be a positive team player who is organized, self motivated, dependable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Must be dependable, flexible and able to adapt to multiple providers' clinical needs and expectations
• Must be able to work well within a team environment
• High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
