Job summary

The Physicians' Group in North Oklahoma City is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant to support a busy orthopedic surgeon. The role includes rooming patients, interviewing, and accurately documenting in EPIC, plus processing referrals and forms for workers' compensation cases.

Ideal candidates have EPIC experience preferred, at least one year MA experience, and a high school diploma. You must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North Oklahoma City

• This position will assist the provider with rooming, interviewing and accurately documenting in EPIC.
• Will process forms to include referrals and for 5's.
• The MA has a critical role in keeping the fast-paced clinic running efficiently.
• Must be familiar with worker's comp, form 5's and able to professionally and efficiently work with case managers and adjusters.
• Non-clinic functions include prepping for clinic, H&P's for surgery, triage calls, scheduling, authorizations an other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• One year Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must be highly dependable and self motivated.
• Must be able to work at a very fast pace and work well within a team environment
• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
