Crisp Regional Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to contribute to the Physician Services team by gathering data, providing comfort measures, and delivering patient-centered care appropriate to developmental age and cultural needs.
The role involves coordinating with physicians and staff, documenting assessments, and ensuring safe, efficient clinic operations. No professional certification is required, and up to one year of related experience is acceptable.
Under the leadership of the department Manager, Physician Services, the Medical Assistant is an active member of the Physician Services team that collects data and provides comfort measures and care to patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing care that is appropriate for the patient’s developmental age and is culturally sensitive. The Medical Assistant formulates an appropriate plan for care and analyzes the effectiveness of interventions while effectively interacting with patients, families’ other medical office staff members. The Medical Assistant maintains standards of professional nursing.
Requires a high school diploma with an emphasis in Office Occupations and Administrative Skills or a GED state certification. A business office school, Medical Assistant program or Associate’s degrees is preferred.
Requires up to one year of work-related on-the-job experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
