Crisp Regional Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Physician Services team. The role involves data collection, comfort measures, and culturally sensitive patient care across developmental ages, with a focus on maintaining professional nursing standards.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, ideally with Medical Assistant certification; up to one year of related experience preferred.
Under the leadership of the department Manager, Physician Services, the Medical Assistant is an active member of the Physician Services team that collects data and provides comfort measures and care to patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing care that is appropriate for the patient’s developmental age and is culturally sensitive. The Medical Assistant formulates an appropriate plan for care and analyzes the effectiveness of interventions while effectively interacting with patients, families’ other medical office staff members. The Medical Assistant maintains standards of professional nursing.

Requires a high school diploma with an emphasis in Office Occupations and Administrative Skills or a GED state certification. A business office school, Medical Assistant program or Associate’s degrees is preferred.
