Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide patients through their visit, ensuring comfort and efficiency
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and preparation for exams
• Collect vital signs and health information (history, medications, allergies)
• Perform point-of-care testing and handle specimen collection and processing
• Support physicians and nurse practitioners during procedures
• Communicate care instructions to patients and families with clarity and empathy
• Handle patient calls and ensure continuity of care
• Coordinate schedules and maintain smooth patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records
• Process prescription refill requests with provider approval
• Manage incoming medical records, lab results, imaging reports, and referrals
• Perform inventory management and ensure clinical supplies are stocked
• Maintain logs for medications, equipment, and safety protocols
• Help ensure a safe, compliant, and well-organized clinical environment
